Taylor…
I enjoyed meeting you at your release party for River of Kings. I’m looking forward to reading it. Charles and Jim sent me the autographed copy. Thanks for signing it for me. Charles was the head counselor at the Atlanta high school where I taught English. We’ve been great book buddies for over forty years. Happy writing on your new book.

Hi, Taylor. I read the story in the June 2020 edition of Reader’s Digest you wrote, On Dad’s Trail, Forever.
That was a beautifully done story, and I’m so sorry about the loss of your dad!
I know all too well what that feels like–I lost my own dad to Stage 4 lung cancer on 3-11-2019, and Dad had just had his 75th birthday on Thanksgiving, his favorite holiday.
Thanks again for your work, and please keep it up!
-All the best, Carla

Taylor,
Great , great story in RD. I too had a father who quietly showed his love by working on projects together. There is something spiritual about being out on a bike and seeing , and smelling the landscape as it rolls by.
Sold my 2300cc Triumph and bought a retro Vespa in pristine condition. It’s great fun to park at a store and see the different ages excited by it.
My wife’s a published author (professionally) so I see firsthand the work it takes to bang out a book… You are blessed as a wordsmith! God Bless. Greg Eagy

I read your story in RD Happy Trails. I had advertised my 1989 HD 1200 sportster for sale , your father came and bought it. he told me he wanted it for a project bike for father and son. he told me his son has written books, and mentioned Bike Bound. He sent me a picture of finished bike and i was surprised to see a cafe racer. I read about his accident in the newspaper, sorry for your loss. If this is the bike in your story i am very happy i sold it to him,and you and him got to do the project together. You now have. the memories you can cherish of working on that project together. I live in Jacksonville Fl

Dear Taylor:
I just finished your story, “Ride of Passage”, which gave me warm butterflies in my stomach. I so relate to southern road trips. Now, at 78, the long-haul trips of past adventures will have to be rekindled by authors such as yourself. I was inspired to pre-order Wing Walkers and sent two of your other books to my kindle.
Our summers, during the 50s, were spent on the Sapelo river at Pine Harbor, several miles south from Savannah. At Doty’s Fish Camp we were never at a loss for heart pounding adventures. Feral horses and pigs were one source of wonder plus we had the ebb and flow of the Sapelo River which was the water freeway to the environs of Blackbeard and other islands. I sometimes think my DNA is soaked with the water of the Georgia Coast. My father was born in Darien and we lived on St. Simons for a few years.
As an introduction I was raised in Sandy Springs Georgia, went to U of South Carolina, played professional basketball for 12 years, settled down in Phoenix and had a 33 year stint with a company I started in 1978, Sport Court of Arizona. I’m a signature watercolor artist (Arizona Watercolor Association and National Watercolor Society) and am an illustrator for my daughter in laws children’s books (mamafoxbooks.com).
I would like to send to you a book I wrote and illustrated about a fictionalized heist of a lot of loot from Jekyll Island during WWII. There are no expectations. I think you would get a kick out of it.
I look forward to hearing from you…Jim Fox

Not since Pat Conroy have I found an author that the ability to touch my soul like you have. When Mr. Conroy passed, I felt a deep and profound loss. I, like many others, felt a connection with this son of the “Low Country,” especially so after reading “The Great Santini.” We were both military brats with fathers cut from the same cloth as Bull Meechum. I thought I would never find another author that could light my fire like he did…until now.
Last week, my oldest son, his family and I went to our favorite book store – Shavers. Winding my through the bookshelves, I saw something that stopped dead in my tracks, It was “Wing Walkers.” I opened the book and was immediately hooked. I began my aviation career (military and civilian) in the mid sixties. Many of my mentors cut their teeth on those barn storming years. Three of them are now in the Georgia Aviation Hall of Fame. I felt honored and humbled just to be around these guys.
I just finished “Wing Walkers” a few minutes ago. All I can say is…thank you.

Hi Taylor,
I just wanted to commend you on the excellent work written in The River of Kings. My husband and I planned a week in Georgia. We traveled North into the mountains, walked through the streets of Atlanta, ate a delicious meal in Savanah at the historic Pirates Inn, got ice cream in Columbus, visited Phinizy Swamp Nature Park in Augusta, were awed by Okefenokee Swamp and loved the colors at Providence Canyon State Park. All along the way, we were accompanied by Hunter and Lawton Loggins. When we visited Cumberland Island, we found the history that you talked about at one of their visitor centers. We drove over the Altamaha River with an appreciation that we would not of otherwise had for its history. We discussed the book strolling through Jekyll Island and wonder through the streets of Tybee Island. You gave our trip to Georgia substance and made fans out of both of us. We plan on embarking on the rest of your literary journeys! Your style reminded us of the writings of Michael Ondaatje. The attention to detail and description in your story was appreciated. Thank you for becoming a writer!

I just finished Gods of Howl Mountain. It is one of the best books I have read! I understand some comparison to some of Cormac McCarthy’s work. Bravo Sir. I have already ordered most of your other books including pre-order.

Hi Taylor,
Rednecks is a masterful and deeply human portrayal of struggle, unity, and defiance. Your retelling of the Battle of Blair Mountain captures not just a historical moment but the raw spirit of resilience that defines it. The blend of grit, lyricism, and historical precision gives this story the weight and dignity it deserves, and it’s clear why it has already earned such strong critical recognition.
What stands out most is how you bring to life the collective heartbeat of those miners ordinary people fighting for dignity against overwhelming odds. The emotional depth and authenticity of your storytelling make Rednecks more than historical fiction; it’s a vital reflection on courage, solidarity, and the price of justice.
At The Ashverra Collective, I am offering a free promotional campaign designed to elevate visibility and strengthen book sales. There are no upfront costs. I receive a 10 percent royalty only on verified sales that come directly through the campaign. This ensures that our success is shared. I benefit only when your book does.
Your work already carries the power of both truth and art. With a focused promotional strategy, we can extend that reach and connect Rednecks with a wider audience of readers who value meaningful, story-driven literature rooted in history and humanity.
Would you be open to a conversation about how we can position your book for broader visibility and continued success?
Warm regards,
Asher Grey

Rednecks is the fourth book of yours I’ve read. That fact alone tells you that I enjoy your writing. Rather than say “read” I should say that I just started it tonight. I was fascinated when I heard you had written a novel about the Battle of Blair Mountain because I had researched it and shared the story with my students after watching John Sayles’ film Matewan several years ago. I admit I was a little surprised that you never mention the film in your bibliography. You did see the film, right? Did it have any effect on you whatsoever? I thought it was a wonderful film and I can’t wait to read the rest of your book.

Subject: Fellow Author – Quick Note on Amplifying Wolvers on Goodreads & Beyond Right Now
Dear Taylor,
I just finished Wolvers and couldn’t put it down. The way you let One-Eleven tell part of the story, the raw tension in the Gila Wilderness, and the honest look at ranching, conservation, and redemption — it’s powerful work. As someone who also writes and helps authors build platforms, I was genuinely impressed.
I’m Emily, co-author of Authority Marketing Manual and an independent Book Visibility & Reader Engagement Strategist. I specialize in helping authors like you turn strong launches into sustained momentum — especially on Goodreads, Amazon, and in targeted reader communities.
Here’s what I offer and exactly how it helps you:
Metadata & Amazon Ads — I optimize the backend keywords across your catalog so Wolvers and your other titles surface when readers search for literary thrillers, nature fiction, wolf conservation stories, and Southwestern thrillers. I then run targeted ads that put your books directly in front of readers who love C.J. Box, literary wilderness fiction, and conservation-themed stories — people actively looking for exactly what you write and ready to buy.
Amazon A+ Content & Enhanced Descriptions — I rebuild your book pages into compelling, atmospheric listings that highlight your award-winning prose, the gripping multi-POV structure, the stunning Gila Wilderness setting, and the emotional depth of Wolvers. This makes readers feel they’ve discovered something special and buy with confidence.
Review & Endorsement Campaign — I get Wolvers into the hands of thriller readers, nature enthusiasts, wilderness bloggers, conservation communities, and book influencers who provide genuine, high-quality reviews that build trust and social proof — giving Amazon and Goodreads the signals they need to recommend your book automatically.
Social Media & Content Strategy — I create content around your themes of wilderness, redemption, and the modern American West that attracts literary fiction readers, outdoor enthusiasts, and conservation-minded audiences — positioning you as the go-to voice for compelling, thought-provoking stories set in the Southwest.
Author Newsletter & Engagement — I help you grow a direct list of loyal readers who follow your work, engage with your stories, and become advocates who recommend Wolvers and your backlist within their book clubs, outdoor groups, and literary networks.
Goodreads & Listopia — I get Wolvers placed on the right high-traffic lists — “Best Literary Thrillers 2026,” “Nature Fiction & Wilderness Stories,” “Books About Wolves & Conservation,” “Best Southwest Fiction,” and more — so your book gets steady organic discovery from motivated readers.
Bulk Buyer & Institutional Outreach — I open doors to libraries, independent bookstores, conservation organizations, wilderness groups, and book clubs in the American West and beyond who buy in volume and can put Wolvers in front of readers who will connect deeply with its themes. One strong partnership can dramatically expand reach.
This week alone I’ve delivered these exact campaigns for three other authors with new releases — all seeing strong early traction, more reviews, and increased sales velocity.
What I really want, Taylor, is to build a longer-term relationship with you. One campaign can give Wolvers the launch boost it deserves, but consistent visibility work makes every future book easier and more powerful. I’m not here for a quick transaction — I’m here to become a trusted partner who helps you reach the wider audience your writing already earns.
I’d love to know: What does success look like for Wolvers right now? Are you focused on more Goodreads reviews and “Want to Read” adds, higher Amazon sales velocity, stronger platform growth, or all of the above?
Just hit reply and let me know your vision. I’ll put together a short, custom plan tailored to where the book is today — no pressure, no cost to discuss.
Looking forward to possibly working together and supporting a book (and author) I truly respect.
Warmly,
Emily
