On January 23, Press 53’s Kevin Watson organized and hosted an awesome book launch at the Gallery of the Arts in Winston-Salem.  It was awesome, though my reading of “Kingdom Come” had to be smoothed over by generous helpings of white wine :)

The contest was judged Joy Williams, author of Saving Grace, The Changeling, and The Quick and The Dead. I feel truly honored to be selected for this prize by such a fine literary journal.  Here’s the link for more info:
